Happy 2011!

In addition to focusing on my own originals these days, I’m also spending most Fridays at the studio with Calamity Janes. We’ve been working hard on a three song demo and so far, we have finished two original tunes: Stashed Away and Some Take the Highway. The next tune will be a great bluegrass fiddle tune called Jerusalem Ridge. We’ve given it our own flavour, adding a touch of swing and blues to the feel of it. Should be pretty great once it’s done. The Janes are also hoping to get the ball rolling on a two week adventure along the Bruce Peninsula this summer. More details to follow.

In the meantime, the Kingston Symphony and the Melos Baroque Ensemble are keeping me busy. The Limestone Trio, will be featured at the next Baroque concert which will take place at 7:30pm on January 28th at St. George’s Cathedral in Kingston.
